ANIMATION ROOM

An hands-on interactive space that explores the world of animation. Through wide range of playful activities, visitors are invited to experiment and create their own animated story. Visitors learn the basics of animation by experimenting sketching on a light table, making zoetropes and turn-table animations, and creating short movies on the stop-motion machines.

The space offers two kinds of Stop-motion stations: frontal camera using 3d elements (toys, models, textures etc) and a Vertical Top camera using 2d elements (cutouts, drawings, textures). The system is very intuitive, fun and easy-to use - but also offers professional animation tools such as “onion skin” state, guided grid and an editing screen.
